The final(?) main quest (spoilers)

How long is this thing? I just got to the Dark Shrine and have Reeve in my party after beating his giant mech for a boss. Is there ANY kind of checkpoint in this quest, or will I have to start at finding the teleporter to the moon if I shut my DS off now? And if it matters, I'm playing as a RAmarl.

As long as you saved when the game prompted you to after beating Humilias (the mech boss), you'll restart at the beginning of the Dark Shrine if you quit now.

When you restart, you'll be back in town. Just go to the quest counter and accept the quest to return to the Shrine. You can take this opportunity to restock and buy stuff.
