I am starting a new FOmarl, was wondering if anyone had some good advice about what to use and such. Thank you.

FOmarl does a decent job nuking in most areas if you're playing in solo mode as long as you have a good set-up. Magical Piece, Summit Moon, Psycho Wand or Prophets of Motav (both are pricey/rare), and RA, GI, and SI merges make her tech damage good enough to breeze through most areas.
If you're playing with a group the emphasis for a FOmarl should be support. Great Jellen/Zalure/Resta/Anti range make her a great support force. You can also use a Bringers Rifle (try to get one with 50-60% hit) and a Slicer of Fanatic for group play.
Even at the most basic equipment level you should be able to play with a group and contribute. Worst case scenario would be to get a Glide Divine, make sure everything is Jellen'd/Zalure'd, everyone is at full/near full health, and everyone has Shifta/Deband. FOmarl can be very versitile and fun to play.
