Windows Media Audio 9, Windows Media Video 9.
I think I need to increase the video bandwidth, this looks like poopoo.

Does anyone else use this manuever?
--------------

Windows Media Audio 9, Windows Media Video 8.
400 kbps video really makes a difference.
For the shortcut, I just jam myself into the corner, then slowly turn the joystick clockwise, so that I turn away from the direction I want to move.
--------------
Why you'd need 30 fps or 44 khz audio is beyond me, but here it is:
http://users.adelphia.net/~snappurunyanko/gc/catburgler2.wmv
Windows media audio and video 9.
Getting into jp cmode with the other 200 snapple clones
---------------
http://users.adelphia.net/~snappurunyanko/gc/c7.wmv
Windows Media Audio 9, Windows Media Video 9.
I tried the 9 codec and increasing video to 500 kbps. I think it just plain can't interpolate captured video, so it looks poopooish! Also, this is using the deinterlace filter.
---------------
http://users.adelphia.net/~snappurunyanko/gc/shiyato.wmv
Windows Media Audio 9, Windows Media Video 9.
500 kbps, it looks pretty good with video crispness at 100, since I'm not moving much.
Birth of the uber-cute pink sato-chan.

Funny picture! Note: SnAPPLE didn't get a makeover.

nice move, I'll have to try it.

P.S. You type fast

I just let it hit me. If you're with another player, it takes minimal effort to break free, and it gives you a few seconds where it won't attack you.

Mar 6, 2003, 11:34 AM
wow that was fast typing.

I do that when I'm playing alone because no one is there to help me but I do it too when playing with friends. Became a habit or something. But when I do get hit I cry http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

It certianly SOUNDS exciting, but my computer could only load the audio for some odd reason.

Mar 6, 2003, 11:49 AM
you may not have version 9 tigger, i can't load mine either (only sound) cause i have 6.4

Tigger
Mar 6, 2003, 12:30 PM
Yeah I have version 8, but in the past it never really mattered because it played pretty much everything 9 did. Oh well.

Mar 6, 2003, 01:54 PM
I used to not be able to do that at all. I can now most the time.

Nice video you have Snap. You have any more?

Mar 6, 2003, 04:36 PM
Nice vid. As of yet I never had a chance to try that trick to dodge that attack online cause Vol Opt seems to ignore me. Doesn't seem to matter if I am the weakest or the strongest. . .

Mar 6, 2003, 05:11 PM
Purr I think I'll go back to media 8 codec.
I don't have many other videos, since my computer isn't fast enough to keep full frames synced with audio over a longer file.

Oh, someone AIMed me while I was in happy neko napping land: My Vulcans have 35% dark, 80% hit. I was using a mag with only 45 dex, since I'm trying to raise a new sato without losing it to fsod :3

Im in that video!

You didnt get a shot of my big rump though :'(

Yeah, I always used that "run around the glowing green ball of DEATH!!!" trick. It's really the best way (and pretty much the only way if you're close to the mamma jamma) to avoid it, especially on Ultimate. Kinda tricky though, takes some practice.

Mar 6, 2003, 07:20 PM
lol...that was cool...and wow! wish I typed that fast with software keyboard http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif oh, and the video loaded fine for me, but my WMP had to download a codec to run it (which it did it on the spot, so no shutting down the prog to install or nothing, lol).

Mar 6, 2003, 07:33 PM
wow, that was cool.....I'll start importing stuff of my cam to my schools comp and send that clip to my e-mail....that should do it. and DAMN you type fast!@

Windows Media Sucks why can't people just make regular old mpegs?

MS wants all technology to be proprieteryI mean seriously why do we need to replace mpeg movies and mp3 audio with WMA??

I laughed when I found out I could do this a few weeks/month ago. It's all you really can do, since it goes faster than you and will catch up to you if you run straight. Another thing to do is to let it chase you, run straight into wall, stand for a few seconds then leave, and the ball thing will hit the wall and dissapear. Only works if you time it right.

Oh well, but it's a lot more fun to purposely make the ball hit someone else.

It's pretty funny. Back in the v2 days, the shortcut was on the other side of the room >_>

ooo i gotta try to learn how to do that with my pc version hehe http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif;

FluxGryphon
Mar 7, 2003, 02:28 AM
lol ^v^

In regards to the Vol Opt maneuver, I didn't know you could do that, but I avoid it anyway. Instead of running the super tight circle, I just run around the room. Guess I need to try beating Vol Opt ver.2 more than once.

In regards to the new "I'm skinny!" vid, did you do that online, or offline in single player? In the GC version, you can't do that in split-screen mode, but you can in offline SP.

You have a very colorful MAG! 'zis your new one, or what?

SnAPPUrU-nyan-ko
Mar 7, 2003, 02:40 AM
Nyan: I did it offline single player, but it works in online challenge mode =^.-=
That was my Ila, but it's now a fruity purple Sato. Purple outfit, Pink hair, purple Sato... All I need is a love heart :3

Whoa! You'd go well with my wacky HUcast, Kyrius Tyn. (Though he can't say S's, so he'd call himself "Kyriuth" in a Helium 'CHEEEEEEEZ' voice.) He was a fruit salad until I got tired of following his little blue butt everywhere. Now he's a bubblegum orange skinny li'l HUcast. ^v^

Cheers to brightly-colored PSO characters! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_beer.gif
*showers Snap with some valentine candy hearts* ((It's a temporary Love Heart effect!))

i can only do that with the start bar pulled up...too bad it took my 20 lvls in ult to figure that out

nice!
That was very cool, I'll try it some time.

I haven't checked out the video, but I can guess that you(snap) are refering to running around in circles to avoid vol opts green ball(works on baranz missles also).

Also if you can break the shell with one tech cast(offline), it's possible to cast techs like gifoie which stay on the field and damage the shell once your incased in it. Also if your a FOnewearl and you cast barta right before your incased in the shell, the barta will hit the shell as it pops up and you can break free(very difficult to time).

I use those methods to get my weak ass characters to ultimate ruins way before their time. It's possible to defeat vol opt ver2's second form without ever taking any damage once you know how to avoid the green ball.

Venus
Mar 8, 2003, 11:28 PM
hmmm... I avoided the green ball just by running in a straight line in ult. I beat up to ruins with a lvl 80 fonewearl. I never used any dodge trick to get around it. Does it only move faster than you online? I know this... because if I got hit once with the green ball I was dead on the spot. I had to dodge it every time to beat him... and i definately did not use any scapes...

(BOO) - lvl 102, Fonewearl, Pinkal

Online speeds up vol opt :3 Offline isn't as hard to avoid ;3

Wow, you use my same technique on getting on full ships.

I'd like to see you make a dummy character on another mem. card and corrupt yourself, so I can see what it looks like, and if you can fix it.

Did you accidentally add a "0" to your number for people online at a time on 1.0?
