Sega USA community manager Aaron Weber dropped us an e-mail and confirmed two more items for the US version of Phantasy Star Portable 2.

Item 1: The Lance of Longinus from Evangelion.

Item 2 (and sort of 3): Hatsune Miku’s leek. The dual saber leek is in the Western version of Phantasy Star Portable 2 as well. We’re still waiting on confirmation of Hatsune Miku’s outfit.

The English localized version of Phantasy Star Portable 2 also includes fan art (http://www.siliconera.com/2010/06/24/sega-tried-to-keep-the-idol-posters-in-phantasy-star-portable-2/), a cool Rappy poster and a stylish picture of Alis, instead of the Young Jump idols."

This is great news for us! Now just to see if the rest of it makes it ;-)

not to be a downer, but i am not too optimistic (seeing how SEGA screwed over PSPo1).

But if those items are a definite shoo-in for the english version, they I have hope for it after all :-D

I plan on getting the english version.

Thing is, if Miku's OUTFIT makes it over, it seems that SEGA really cares about bringing as much DLC over as possible. That would make my day even if I wasn't expecting much DLC in the first place.

You have to remember there are 2 Miku outfits in PSP2. The regular one is just obtained through a password on the vision phone. The VN02 suit is a DLC item. I would imagine that the Lance of Longinus/Miku Leek weapons would indicate the inclusion of some password items, so it's more likely to be the regular Miku outfit.

Still, it's good to see the western version will at least have some collaboration items included.
