do i need to use the mouse

just recently started playing pso for the pc and im wondering:-?, Do i have to use the mouse for movement, or is there a way to use the keyboard?

you use WASD for movement and arrow keys/hotkeys for actions

wasd is the default movement for the keyboard, the arrow keys are to attack. If you go into the Keyboard Config under Options you can customize the key controls.

EDIT: And to answer your question, no, you don't need to use the mouse.

I know Ade uses the mouse for movement. It's pretty interesting imo that some players can actually use the mouse effectively for movement.

If you're typing without hitting enter, you've probably hit F11 (I think that was the key), that is for gamepad mode so that you can use a gamepad to move and attack and type without having to hit enter to bring up the chat prompt.

I use a 360 controller, and don't really use F11 for autotype as it gets in the way when I try to use the number hotkeys. Take Resta for instance, I have it set to 1, and when I need to heal myself or a team member, I spam 1 to try and cast Resta and see 1's filling up the bottom of my screen XD I usually hit Enter to just get rid of them, which is quite funny actually.

Guess I'm just used to pressing the spacebar before I type.

Well I'm just using my ps3 controller now its a lot easier, havent had much time to play recently due to college n me losing my usb cable, but now ive found it it gonna start racking up those hours. Thanks for all the help guys really apperciate it.
