TGS is coming up next week. What games are you looking forward to seeing announced/revealed?

I'm hoping for:
Demon's Souls 2
Mirror's Edge 2
PSO2

I'll just about drop dead if either DS or Mirror's Edge get formally announced. EA did say that they had several announcements for TGS. DICE has already confirmed that a small team is working on the game.

Demon's Souls sold decently around the world. As of right now, the game has sold over 700 000 copies. I would like to think that Sony and From Software are working on a sequel and hopefully it will be released worldwide simultaneously.

I'd like to think that PSO2 will be announced (or another PS console game) but I have my doubts. I know that the trailer will be cool, but that doesn't mean that the game will be worth anything. Hopefully Sega has put a lot of work into PSO2.

Since it's related, I'll quote myself here. The first bit is about PSP2i but second is about some unannounced games, of which PSO2 could be included.

If you can't make it to TGS, Sega will be streaming some of the presentations live on UStream. The Business Day presentation will be broadcast Friday the 17th from 12:30 to 1 pm. The General Admission presentation will be broadcast Sunday the 19th from 11:20 to 11:50. These are the Japanese times, of course. Not all of Sega's presentations will be broadcast and of those that are, there will be some that won't be archived so if you miss one, you had better hope to find someone who recorded it.

EDIT 2:

I forgot to mention this but there are some presentations that haven't been made clear as to what they are about. For those of you interested in the supposed other PSO 10th anniversary games, you might want to check them out. These presentations will be on Thursday the 16th from 2 to 2:30 pm, Saturday the 18th from 1:10 to 1:40 pm, and Sunday the 19th from 2:10 to 2:40 pm.

I guess it doesn't come as any surprise as ST constantly gets our hopes up and then smashes them into the ground.

Either that, or they'll end up ruining Sonic 4 or Sonic Colors, in which I'm REALLY looking forward to both of them... :(

Other than that... some games I'm looking forward to are Pokemon Black & White, LittleBigPlanet 2, FF14, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. I also saw a teaser trailer for a new Armored Core game a while back, so maybe there'll be more news on that. I just hope it's not near as horrible as For Answer was.

The customization and multiplayer battles were fun, but I remember certain levels being practically impossible to beat unless you had gone through other story levels on separate playthroughs previously just to unlock specific parts to help you out. I remember for the longest time I was stuck on the fight against White Glint because the guides at GameFAQ's didn't help me, and I had to wait for a friend of mine who had figured most of the game out on his own was able to get online and build a specific AC for me with the parts I had unlocked, using a specific regulations set, and even then, it still took both of us a few tries to beat it. Yeah sorry, but fuck that. I remember the menu navigations and stats system being overly complicated as well, and the level environments were bland and near impossible to see where you were going, often due to fog or blinding sunlight... maybe it was because it was one of the first few PS3 games (it also didn't have a trophy set), but I'm probably going to trade it back in to Gamestop the next chance I get. I mostly got it for the multiplayer anyway, but my friends who had it don't really play it anymore. :(

I wouldn't mind starting over. I still have another slot to do with what I want.
Plus on my level 20 ish, the game is about half done anyway. (Did some speed throughs with a friend to get trophies).

If you understood the stats in AC4 they're the same in FA. As far as difficulty goes, parts from other missions can help, but they're never required. For white glint specifically, most of the assault rifles available to you will suffice if you take your time. Changing regulations to buff what you have at your disposal goes much farther than trying to unlock better parts. There's something to be said for just outmaneuvering the AI as well. I never had any trouble seeing on any of the stages either (a few are supposed to hinder your visibility anyway).

It's hard to call the levels bland when you had awesome ones like the Spirit of Motherwill, The Answerer, any Cradle mission, both Line Ark missions...

In any case, I eagerly await more info on AC5 too. It better come out over here.

About TGS, looks like there's 3 unannounced SEGA games that will be introduced during it, and apparently it was mentioned on shougai pso that PSPo2 infinity is only 1 part of the 10th anniversary.

I've just learned to be pessimistic when it comes to Sonic Team. The release date for PSO on Dreamcast was in December 2000, so there is a possibility they'll hold out and announce something later.

I'm hoping it's the remaining "coming soon" presentation. As for the Infinity site, Sakai (the current senior director for the series) has said that Infinity isn't the only 10th anniversy game. So nothing to do but wait and hope.

I really think the Phatasy Star series should stay how it is in regards to scope: Online multiplayer, but not massively-multiplayer. For quite a few reasons, it'll let them keep that action-oriented gameplay that helps set them apart, and lets them be what we actually liked about PSO in the first place.
