Split the boards?

Could the mods consider splitting the boards so there is a PSP 1 and PSP 2 board?

This might be nitpicking but it seems warranted now that PSP 2 is out in the west and activitiy is booming.

that might have been a good idea a while ago but if they do that now, there's a lot of PSP2 threads that wouldn't get moved (would take forever I'm sure)

When you make posts, you can select a prefix for your topic. If you have a question about PSP1, you can select that prefix. If your thread is about PSP2, you can pick that prefix.

For now, use the topic tags like Mike suggests. Since some info from PSP1 pertains to PSP2. In the near future, when we see a need for it, we will take appropriate action.

There likely won't be many distinctions in the future either, as the community and discussion eventually evolves into the more current iteration.
The PSO section was similar. New sections were not so much required to differentiate between the transition to EPI&II or to Blue Burst, whereas additions like EpIII were entirely different at their core and thus discussion was fundamentally different.

Discussion of both Portable series games can coexist rather easily. Boards and activity can spread quite thin when distinctions are made that aren't fully necessary.
