Not too sure if we can help CFW users or pirates on this forum, but you need a certain plugin.

You have to update your system. Not in the game. In the normal PSP menu.

Looks like I don't have to. :P

is it possible to play online at college?Apparently some colleges block PSPs (probably other systems too) from accessing the internet.

Most colleges block the ports to stuff like PSN and Steam unless there is a large outcry over it, for example my school doesn't block WoW and consequently Battle.net since they use the same ports but at the same time they have the connections reset your login every 15 minutes.

That and the psp can't connect games to many schools anyways because they require a web based login page to get anywhere and while the psp browser can browse the internet just fine, it doesn't work for trying to access multiplayer on games.

You can't afford one PSP game that costs £25 or $40? Then how did you afford the system? I think that's the worst excuse I've heard to pirate.

If you bought your psp, buying the game shouldn't be a problem. If you were gifted the system, you shouldn't have it if all you're going to do is pirate.

No excuse to pirate. Realistically it won't affect sales if you weren't going to buy it in the first place, but the law is, you shouldn't anyways.

Ending rant before I go out of control. Hoping not to get modded for ranting again.

Don't help this guy he openly admitted to pirating the game which is totally lame. But not only that, he is making a bad name for us CFW users :(

True. I commend you for that.
Well, now that you have access to the offline mode portion of the game, I can argue it's like you're having access to an extensive demo of the game. If you like the game enough, then it's worth the extra $40 for the real UMD game since ONLINE is where the game REALLY gets fun.

Otherwise, kick back and casually enjoy what you already have.

I have GEN-D3 on my other PSP. Even if you buy the game and get the plugin to access PSN to put the serial in it won't work.

If you want to play online you are going to have to upgrade. Even if that means sacraficing all your homebrew.

You should also show Phantasy Star the love it needs and buy that Shit.

Locked since the thread doesn't discuss a legitimate system/game.
