The Curse of Shizuru Daggers

I've been trying to find these annoying twin daggers *Tumikiri Hyori* on Gemaga for 3-4 days now. Within those days i've done it 100 times since i have 100 gemaga tickets, everyone that i know plays this has got one or 2 :-o i've even done Chapter 9 act 2 alot and still no luck. Am i just that unlucky or is the game rippin me off?:-?

Just unlucky. I've seen posts on one of the Japanese PSP2 wikis saying that it took them 200-300 tries to finally get one. I got mine in 30 some on JP. I haven't tried for them on US yet

Oh my, 200-300... Now that just took me off-guard, looks like i have another 200 runs to go lol.

It took me about 60+ gamaga shizuru kills though it took me about 10 hrs total finally getting the pattern of spawns down and stupid deaths out of the way.

Ended up with 30% ice.

Read it rook someone 600 runs for it =/ I find it a bit more believable now...

umm well ive done it about 80-90 times and ive got 3
30% light
24% dark
and a 0% :-x

I think it took me about 100ish runs of gemega befor he dropped 1 literally, not from the reward screen. It was a shiney king shizuru. The rares you want will always be elusive to you, I never really aimed for one in the first place, all you can do is not to give up!

Also remember to keep getting blessings. I got my Tumikiri's on an 11% drop boost.

Gemaga and MAC4 have higher drop rates. You'll be hard pressed to get 'em to drop on 9-2, trust me.

You players of the English version are spoiled with high drop rates :p This particular download quest is insanely easy as a vanguard though. You can run through quite slowly and still do it in under three minutes.

Gemaga and MAC4 have higher drop rates. You'll be hard pressed to get 'em to drop on 9-2, trust me.

You think I'll have a better chance at farming a whole mission than just one short battle?

Well, the entire Gemaga run takes about 3-4 minutes on VA, thanks to the ability to just delete entire spawn waves with traps.

Yeah, and you also have a chance of getting it from the rewards screen (How low it may be) not to mention the weapon drops will make you money so you can keep buying blessings.

For those farming on the English version, wouldn't it be easier to just die at 10-2 Shizuru, save game on Clad 6, then jump straight to Shizuru? If he doesn't drop it, just reset the game and reload.

Once again, Gemaga has higher drop rates already. Getting a blessing boost makes that even more useful.

Not to mention gemaga is more...productive. Good exp and mp for a short run.

took me about 150 runs. around there. to get mine. 33% dark.... it's not easy... i pulled like 10+ of the shuziru 10 star saber....

It's the Burst Bomber ability that Vanguards learn at level 7.

To get my first pair it took me around 120 runs of Gemaga, and I guess I was lucky enough to get a decent % on the first try (49% :ice:); I also got a 55% :lightning: Rengokuto Gren in the process and tons of single daggers, lol.
