Hey all -

I came across some crazy deals and I told myself, "Self, PSOW users like cheap video games. You should let them in on the savings!"

So we have a new deals thread. Please feel free to share any new deals you find.

Let's start with a doozy:

Apparently, Microsoft is offering Fable 2 as a free download if purchased through the xbox.com store. You have to be signed in, at which point you should go to this page:

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/offers/00000001-0000-4000-8000-00004d5307f1

You should see the full 7 GB download available for free. (If you've already downloaded Fable II - Episode 1 in the past, it'll look like you've already purchased the game. Feel free to download again.)

I haven't had a chance to test this out (as I'm not at home), but it's in my download queue and I'll get it going once I can get home and turn on my Xbox.

(via Slickdeals.net (http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/40411/fable-ii-xbox-360-game-download))

Not as amazing, but Steam is offering Tales of Monkey Island for $5 - http://store.steampowered.com/app/31170/

I recently bought this through an earlier promotion, and it's been fun so far (I'm on the second chapter.)

Anybody have anything else they'd like to contribute?

The excellent Mass Effect 2 for PC is $11.90 on GoGamer for their weekly 48 hour madness sale:

I'm not sure if this is deal enough for the scope of the thread, but Amazon is offering a $20 credit for a future video games purchase to customers who pre-order Fable III (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002I0H7U6/ref=oss_product). This appears to apply to both the standard XBox 360 version and the XBox 360 Limited Collector's Edition.

Super Meat Boy is available for $10 for a limited time. It's worth $15, but they're crazy and giving it away for $10.

XBOX Live 12 month card

Hovers at just under $40

Which is what I got it for recently, PM'ed myself to Amazon [code] up.

Just in time for that XBLOX Billing to FUX up, after going 2 months having paid for one month at $7.99. Which is the newer raised price? Remember some news on that, so get your month cards on Amazon where its not full MSRP, or before the things go up.

In an absolutely ludicrous move, Amazon is having a buy 2 get 1 free promotion.

3 for 2 Promotion (http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=br_lf_m_1000626371_pglink_1?ie=UTF8&plgroup=1&docId=1000626371&plpage=1)

The list is huge.

I changed this to October/November, since the October one was so short.

Awesome job noticing that Amtalx, I was going to order one of the games listed as it was (Assassin's Creed), and seriously considered a second on the list (Mass Effect).
Now to try and think of one other. Fallout 3? Magna Carta 2? Gears of War? I'm looking for recommendations for the 360, maybe Wii. I may consider Goldeneye.

I'm probably going to pick up Vanquish, Fallout New Vegas, and Starcraft II. Amazon tried to be sneaky and bury Vanquish somewhere deep in the list, but it's there. There are so many games, you are better off just looking for a specific title and checking its eligibility.

Also, Enslaved is 35% off. So pretty much every good game that has come out in the last three months is on sale right now. Go nuts.

EDIT: Enslaved is actually part of the deal too. Just make sure you select Amazon as the seller. The current low price comes from a different vendor so Amazon's price isn't listed first. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is up there as well...

This Amazon deal is very, very tempting. Ugh... I have so much to play as it is, though :(

Now I need to pick three games out of a few I was looking at (New Super Mario Bros. Wii (http://www.amazon.com/New-Super-Mario-Bros-Wii-Nintendo/dp/B002BRZ9G0/ref=br_lf_m_1000626371_1_5_ttl?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=videogames&pf_rd_p=1279278662&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_i=1000626371&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=08AVVY5PA2MXQNXQCS15), Fallout: New Vegas (http://www.amazon.com/Fallout-New-Vegas-Pc/dp/B002SU4QG4/ref=br_lf_m_1000626371_2_32_ttl?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=videogames&pf_rd_p=1279278662&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_i=1000626371&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0RCN7KXZ0RPA2HQSK729), the new action-RPG Lufia (http://www.amazon.com/Lufia-Curse-Sinistrals-Nintendo-DS/dp/B003UI518A/ref=br_lf_m_1000626371_5_117_ttl?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=videogames&pf_rd_p=1279278662&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_i=1000626371&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0BGM6ATGE2ARC7V1S26G), Monster Hunter Tri (http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Hunter-Tri-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B002BRYXOO/ref=br_lf_m_1000626371_9_225_ttl?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=videogames&pf_rd_p=1279278662&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_i=1000626371&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=115FX4KF9Y82VRYMRHP9), Samurai Warriors 3 (http://www.amazon.com/Samurai-Warriors-3-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B003K18LT8/ref=br_lf_m_1000626371_19_524_img?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=videogames&pf_rd_p=1279278662&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_i=1000626371&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0H636MF2HFA5FZTGWXMV), and King's Bounty: Armored Princess (http://www.amazon.com/Kings-Bounty-Armored-Princess-Pc/dp/B003WUSDMW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1289007208&sr=1-1)). That's going to be all the trouble, I'm sure.

I ended up getting Vanquish, Enslaved, Fallout: New Vegas, The World Ends with You, Darksiders, and Peggle Dual Shot for less than $150. Ridiculous.

The Amazon 3 for 2 deal ends tonight for those considering it.

All right, scored my swag. After much deliberation, I went with New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Fallout: New Vegas, and Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals (and, because I played the demo and liked it and it was like twenty bucks, Torchlight, even though it wasn't part of the promotion).

Between the 3-for-2 promotion and the $20 credit I had from Fable III, I got all four games for $93.35, or approximately an average of $23.34. (Just the games under the promotion came to $73.37, or an average of approximately $24.46.)

That's enough from me. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Amazon is at it again with the crazy deals. Enslaved is only $25 dollars today on both PS3 and 360. This game is a little over a month old and definitely worth $25 dollars.

My official quitting of video games probably has brought on the best XBox360 deal ever for anyone who wants to get a 360 plus a crap load of extras.

Check out my eBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280589587566

Don't know if this is allowed to be posted in this thread, but I'm just trying to pass on a good deal. :)

Amazon is taking all of my money.
I got:
NBA 2K11 for $30 with a $10 credit towards a 12 month Xbox LIVE gold sub
Super Street Fighter IV for $15
Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition PS3 for $15
Phantasy Star Portable 2 for $15

NBA is a gift for my brother and the rest are for me. I hope they don't continue these deals until Christmas like they did last year...I just can't handle it.

There is only one deals site that beats them all, has zipcode search, and is not full of ripoffs or con artists.

CheapyD welcomes you (http://www.cheapassgamer.com)

You can thank me anytime.
