Shifta/Deban durations

I have lvl 27 shifta and lvl 20 deban and there is 0 difference in duration. What effects duration of these buffs now?

I think it's the tier of the tech. Level 1-10 lasts 60 seconds, 11-20 lasts 90 seconds, 21-30 lasts 120 seconds.
I don't think anything else effects the duration. I'm pretty sure your tech stat doesn't even influence the potency of the two techniques either.
I could be wrong though, I get most of my information from google searches which lead me to various forums.

Assist Advance, a force type ability, extends the duration of shifta and deband by 20%.

I think Wintermute is right. In which case Assist Advance gives an extra 24 seconds on 120... big deal lol
