Female Casts

I just decided to import my caseal from PSP1...and started to get bothered by sommething weird...
WTH is that black thing under female casts' chin? Did they just got a beard or sommething? o.O
Well...is there any way to take that weird stuff out? I tried many customization options but I dun know if I'm missing anything...-_-

ahhh the chinstrap. I haven't made a female cast yet, but I've heard the complaints. I think you are stuck with it.

Yep, that chinguard is there to stay. Better get used to it. Personally what I do is wear oufits/hairstyle that make not so noticeable.

Yeah really. In PSU, PSU:AotI, and PSP1, Myra has always had a certain look. It's bad enough that the Lucaral Torso doesn't have the same shade it use to have (It's now a friggin bright green) so it doesn't match with the Digiel Arms and Legs now, but I'm stuck with a chin-strap.

Sure, sure, it's a kick-back to characters like Wren http://www.rpgpics.com/ps4/BIG_WREN.GIF , but I never saw a girl cyborg/robot in the previous PS games with one..

Yeah. The metal chest spike. I really don't know what they were thinking when they put that thing in that outfit. Did they want to attract more attention to the chest area by adding an object that would seem out of place? Though, I think they just put in there in because this happened during the design process:

SEGA employee 1:"Hmmm...Darn...we made a Caseal-exclusive outfit that's too classy. We gotta make it weird or mess it up somehow. Any ideas?"

SEGA employee 2:"Oh!! I know! Let's add a third breast! That way, ALL caseal outfits will be weird :D"

SEGA employee 1:"That's not half-bad...but I can't be arsed to remodel that character's body again. Besides, we don't want to creep out the pervy part of our fanbase (even though I'm sure it might potentially expand it). Any other ideas?"

SEGA employee 3 (the one they usually beat with a stick because his ideas are good):"I think it's fine as it is >.>..."

SEGA employee 1(while beating #3):"You know what? I got it. I'll just grab the fist object I see and stick it the outfit somehow."

*#1 notices a ruler on his table. Suddenly overwhelmed by a burst of inspiration, he adds the metal spike thingo to the Rosen schwart outfit.*

I kinda like it. It adds to the kinda technical look of CASTs. Though admitted, it doesn't look right if they have clothes on, like the Mikunas and stuff.

I agree. I think Sega's starting to take it a tad too far with the scantly-clad female outfits. I think the Female Duman concept outfit (http://bumped.org/psublog/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Duman-Female-alternate.jpg) is what finally threw Allison over the edge about all of it. I, myself, love me some naughty outfits once and a while (Voloyal Set is one of my favorites), but Sega just does it too often sometimes.

The gloves look nice, and I like the boots but everything else is terrible. This will be a favorite to all the boys on PSP2 that have rooms with "looking/need hot GF".

Well...At least they got rid of the metal chest spike. I'll have to admit, it does look nice, but I still prefer Rosen Schwart to it (despite the metal chest spike of total mindfrack), since this one reveals at tad too much for the type of outfit it is, IMO.

Yeah, pretty much. Though the sleaze designs were never in question; they're Sega inventions, whereas the Slide to Nights was a player submission for their design contest (and, in my opinion, should have been picked--it's easily better than any of the female outfits that made it into the semifinals/quarterfinals/finals/whatevertheyares, and on top of that, fills a needed niche that the others just plain don't. We already have several entries in the Preschool Sluts fashion line).

The chinstrap has never really bothered me, but that might be because of Farrence's outfit; it goes all the way up the neck, and a little bit on the chin does flow with it.

But seriously, it really doesn't become that noticeable after a while. And it could have been worse. The females could have looked like a unicorn pooped on them and then gave a horn as it's business card.

I agree. Unlike PSZ, in the PSP game there is no visual difference between different classes. If all the races looked alike too, it would all end up to be a blurry soup
of colour...

Coming from PSZ, I was actually surprised by the degree of human-ness that casts were granted in PSPo. To me, the human-like boobs were too much...

If you want a human making character, why not just make a human? I'm glad they're adding things to add contrasts between races. And frankly, the chin strap looks great. It adds a great contrast to my character's expression, and helps smooth the transition from a lovely face to a powerful body.

Anyway they can be lot different without a weird black stuff on neck....like the ears, the horns, the body color...

Ive grown to like it. Just like beast ears. Every beast NPC has newman ears with tufts of fur on it excluding shop ones and ones of no significance. But the ears you can choose from are all funky. Still it never bothered me.
