Now I definitely know for sure. There is a 30 level exp limit. By that I mean

(You-lv107 ) vs. (Monster-lv140) = 324exp
(You-lv108 ) vs. (Monster-lv140) = 368exp
(You-lv109 ) vs. (Monster-lv140) = 399exp
(You-lv110 ) vs. (Monster-lv140) = 426exp
(You-lv111 ) vs. (Monster-lv140) = 426exp

I wish everyone was privvy to this because I am sick of S parties trying to fight level 170's when we are all 110-130. Not to mention I do like 50 damage.

But offline - this seems very unfair - I have been doing Valley of carnage S for the past week trying to get some Pandora Extreme - And its easy, and I started at around 102, getting only 200 something for Navals, whom I chose to watch the most closely at the exp defecits, although it occurs in all enemies. This seems like a scam or something... If I'm capable of doing it, don't I deserve the benefits? ESPECIALLY solo. Online is another story, I can see why its important online. But still. GAHHHH

I thought most people knew about this already. I think it's a safeguard to prevent players from using exploits to powerlevel(didn't that happen in PSU?) I think that goes for soloing as well.

well, apparently they don't. I have not played with a SINGLE S rank party that seems to regard this.

I always figured people rather be doing the high level stuff not really for exp but the drops, chaining also becomes a bigger deal but the missions are always managable anyway. If you host a team make sure you place in your comment what level range of monsters you will be fighting.

Most are aware of this, but like Sio said they are after the drops, not the exp.

Almost everyone is aware of this. I do higher level runs for the drops, at 100+ who gives a shit bout experience, leveling is what magashi plan is for.

I don't get it. Could you explain in some simple terms what the issue is?

I've noticed that. I was doing one of Pit's Client thingies just the other day to get a Module, and it required me doing a bunch of S rank missions. I was level 113, and the lowest level enemies I went up against were 165.

I did not level up at all. And I had to do 3 missions, two times each. Kinda struck me odd, because I thought I would have at least leveled up.

I was not aware of this but it does explain why doing gemaga felt so much more rewarding than running open missions solo.

I don't understand how gemaga is a good exp run, compared to magashi plan.... gemaga takes 10-15 runs to level up, and magashi plan... almost 2 levels per run. Am I missing something?

Because you can do 4-5 gemagas in the time of one magashi, and you don't have to farm stones in between runs in missions that give shit xp...

My thoughts exactly.

still... Seems like it takes wayyyyyy longer to do 5 gemaga runs. Plus, I like instant gratification so when I get a drua or darva with a red aura... 17000 exp all at once is like.... oh baby.

I'm all about exp btw. It seems really silly to me to be wasting all that extra exp by doing runs with enemies 50+ than you.... Thats like 1-5k a run.... maybe 25-100k wasted a day, depending on how active you are. Ive gone from 111-120 in 4 days, and I haven't even played too much. maybe from 4 plan runs and the rest on sand rappy runs ( Valley of carnage S, lv140's, and Mine Defense S, lv 150's)

Basically your experience retrogrades if you fight enemies that are more than 30 levels higher than you. You gain less experience for a level 170 enemy than for a 110. Which is very odd. I figure it should be at leas the same amount...

a level 100 fighting a level 195 would gain like 50 exp, but a level 165 fighting a 195 enemy would gain 1500 exp. get it? The enemy's level means nothing unless you are within 30 levels of them.
