Darkness Wings won't appear on me..... wtf

ok, i have the darkness wings, i linked my armor with them and for some reason they won't show up on my back. is there something that i'm doing wrong?

They won't show up outside of a dungeon. If your running around clad-6 nothing will happen.

make sure it's the armor your using, remember you automatically equip the armor you add to the wheel.
