Cleared the game on Hard mode

I got S rank through all up to chapter 7 act 2, then S rank on 10-1, C on 10-2 (Damn Shiziru!) and S on 10-3. Went to credits, got the darkness spell but after visiting Secret Society, the new weapons like Demolition Comet didn't become available. What gives? Could it be the japenese DLC?

Did you do all the missions on Hard Mode or did you just do most of them and do chapter 10?

All the DLC does is change some of the missions into Japanese Text, and of course add the DLC missions. It does not effect in any way the content of our missions.

And in answer to your other question, you need to complete ALL story missions on Hard Mode. Preferably at S Rank level.

Looks like you skipped a few missions there buddy,in order to actually get the store updates and the trading mission updates you need to beat hard mode with all missions ranked S so you can get the new stuff.

hmm they ALL have to be rank S? Or just cleared?

You don't need all S ranks to unlock the hard mode goodies. I had S on all of them except for two A ranks.
