Let say I downloaded a few free items from the JP PSN store.
The items were add-ons for the JP version of PSP2.
So since I have the English version is there anyway to encrypt or change the language setting so it can be played on the american version?

They can't be imported into the game. They removed the option from the main menu...

However, most of them will be implemented into PSPo2i by default, so we'll get to bask in their magnificent novelty-licious glory when they release it in North America, somewhere in 2025
