hey everyone i have a question. when you give your weapon an element and it's at lv 1 is it possible to make that element a lv2+ and how?

Nope. If it has none and you add one, it will always be one and cannot be upgraded beyond that, except synthetically and temporarily while you are wearing ONE Element Boost (wearing more does nothing). The only exceptions to this is if you chance the element on a weapon that already has one (non-rares only), in which it will have the same element level from before, or it's of the Taxion/Luxion/Tachyon Gun series, in which they are able to get any level of element placed on them when you try to initially add one (that means right off the bat, you can have a Lv5 Tachyon Gun if you wanted to).
