FOMar mats

What would be the recommended mats for FOmar styles (like Red Mage setups), and how many would I need of each?

Also, what sort of a Mag would most benefit this playstyle?

Unless you plan on meleeing with MST weapons, you'll still need a fair bit of Power Materials, and definitely need some Hit on your mag. They have enough MST to make the "Mage" part of a Red Mage possible, even as the lowest MST of all Forces, but they still need a good amount of ATA to hit well, since the recommended ATA for SH is about 520. ATP is whatever you get after you reach the necessary ATA putting ALL THE HIT YOU NEED TO REACH 520 ATA ON YOUR MAG. Power Materials are recommended over wasting Hit Materials due to ATP gains through material consumption being affected by Shifta, so just go all ATP/MST if you do anything on mats with those.

Oh, and if you want to look for a specific type of mag, it would be wise of you to make/find one that has the Flozir Photon blast and maybe the Hungry Nature (for Fickle, of course). I would say those are probably the best combination abilities for a mag overall.
