Hi there,

According to the PSO-W Database, (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=2531) L&K38 Combat, it is classified as a shot-type weapon and has handgun range.

Does it fire five bullets like a shot or is it more like a mechgun?

Thanks~

The weapon officially cannot make a combo, so it can fire five (5) bullets, all in the first combo. However, "where HUcast Lv.100 plays," it has the ability to make a full combo, allowing it to fire fifteen (15) bullets across three combos.

I'd also like to add that although it can combo, it's ATP is reduced to 1/3 of what it officially is.

So in retrospect you are still dealing the same possible amount of damage whether it can combo or not.

1/3 of the atp =/= from 1/3 of the damage

It's a shot because you hold it as a shotgun weapon, with same animations and speed, but it fires a sequence of bullets with handgun range.
It's like having a minigun

you have a higher chance of hitting the enemy with the 2nd and 3rd shots so the hard attack will also be more effective
