Man, what's up with you guys? How can you be so insular that there's absolutely no thread on this already?

Well, it's time to rectify this! VIDEO DUMP AHOY~

Looks so very, very bad.

I'm afraid you have absolutely zero chance of being satisfied by PSO2, then. ^^;

I've been excited about TERA for a while now, but Blade and Soul(while not as fancy looking) looks really fun!

I'm sorry, I like my anime games just how like I like my hookers: worthless eye-candy.

Both of those games look worthless. I hate "good graphics" because for 90% of the companies that make games, it means they completely skimp out on the gameplay.

Most of these companies would be better off making movies. Neither of these trailers impressed me.

Oh boy, Sephiroth the video game. Can't freaking wait for that one~~~

I've been interested in TERA for a while. Since its' real-time they will have some serious networking hurdles, but assuming they can get the kinks ironed out, it should be pretty fun.

LOL.

You obviously haven't even bothered looking at how either of these games play. And your hatred of "good graphics" is hilariously irrational (seriously, PSO2 is going to have graphics on-par or better than Sonic Unleashed, are you going to hate on it for that?).

Seriously, saying "graphics mean bad games" is the exact same thing as "graphics make the game" - both of them are terribly irrational statements that have nothing to do with one another. Good artists make good graphics, good game designers make good gameplay - rarely shall the twain ever meet.

But hey, if you like judging books by their covers, be my guest. I can't stop you.

Ironically, this doesn't apply to any of those two games.
The strong point of TERA is definitely not the graphics, but what is planned for the gameplay.

Then again, I'm still waiting to see how it's gonna work once the game's more than a beta.
After all, PSU was looking promising too, back in the days.

LOL.

Ahahaha. I love when posts start with this single, yet stupid, phrase. Here we go folks...

You obviously haven't even bothered looking at how either of these games play.

I don't actively look up games I have no interest in playing. Why didn't you post more videos?

C'mon, make up for my lack of effort, please.

And your hatred of "good graphics" is hilariously irrational

No, it is not. There is a difference in good graphics and BLOOM ANIME HAIR SIMULATOR 2010.

(seriously, PSO2 is going to have graphics on-par or better than Sonic Unleashed

You know this... how?

And don't give me "hurr durr obviously~~~~"

are you going to hate on it for that?).

No, because I haven't seen anything for it. How about using examples that actually exist in a form that I can see. I'm not a Sega of Japan employee, just an FYI.

Seriously, saying "graphics mean bad games"

Want me to start listing bad games with good graphics? It'd be a heartbreaker, I'm sure. I love those. I love posting to piss people off.

is the exact same thing as "graphics make the game" - both of them are terribly irrational statements that have nothing to do with one another.

One's an irrational statement, the other is common sense.

Good artists make good graphics

Here comes the zinger...

good game designers make good gameplay

My favorite part that no child shall ever get until they grow up~~~

- rarely shall the twain ever meet.

MONEY

But hey, if you like judging books by their covers, be my guest. I can't stop you.

Actually, you technically are when you are shelling out massive amounts of dollars to these talentless hacks, ~*~but I can't stop you~*~

Ironically, this doesn't apply to any of those two games.

Five paragraph essay, double spacing, or I'm expelling you.

The strong point of TERA is definitely not the graphics, but what is planned for the gameplay.

Yeah~ We are totally gonna do this~ And this too~ And never run out of money~ We totally won't be the next ABP~~~

Then again, I'm still waiting to see how it's gonna work once the game's more than a beta.

Thank god someone has a little common sense.

After all, PSU was looking promising too, back in the days.

I think we were all too young to understand how bad it was, just being hopelessly optimistic, like a certain OP I know.

Ban me, warn me, whatever. I will actively attack users who praise graphics and sweep aside good gameplay. It is what ruined the current generation of gaming, anyways.

I don't actively look up games I have no interest in playing.
And I don't have the time nor interest to dissect just why this is hilariously bad in and of itself.

If you didn't realize this when writing it, you never will.
