If you had a choice of the following (money being no object in buying the console) which would you get. And Why?

PSO PC Ver 2, PSO Blue Burst, Dreamcast, or Gamecube.

If I would have played Blue Burst, I'm sure I would have preferred it over the Gamecube version.

Hmmm, so BlueBurst seems to have 5 votes more than all the others?

What is the big deal with BB then? What makes it so extra special?

More quests, more monsters, more items, more areas, server side saving, still greatly populated and easily able to meet up with more people.

Dreamcast PSO ver.2

Excelent version to learn how to play the game (TTF actually becomes a worthless quest to lvl up, regarding rares then it's completely worthless, unless ofcourse you do the quest for the prizes and before you get them, you need to know how to play the game)

Excelent control pad, really simple, really effective controls

Great difficulty, you will need to think on how you are going to beat ultimate, charge vulcans are nearly uneffective.

Excelent saving ability, there is no server sided save, you can play whenever you want.
I have seen many complains about saves in BB, GC and in PSO ver.2 for PC, like corrupted files.
On dc, i never saw that problem.

Enough items to keep you hunting for eternity.

Sufficient areas

Fantastic ability to jump to the server that pleases you more

Easy game to play without to many details such as maximizing stats with units, mags and materials, since there is infinite material usage, you don't need to think much about wich mags, materials and units you need

Has different "elite" game strategies then in GC/BB, things that are worthless on these games are actually excelent ways of making your char more powerfull on v2

Good tech range

Easy to find and powerfull weapons avaiable for every id, making some of the rare drops actually more of a utility weapon.

Memorable online gaming.

Not to be an English-must-be-perfect kind of guy, but in the case of "utility", although it's spelled with a "u", it's pronounciation is a "y" sound, so you just use "a", rather than "an". English in school is what i'm REALLY good at(right before Physics, though i suck monkeys at algebra 2)

As much as I hate all the new BB content, I would say go for BB. There just isn't enough people on GC or v2. BTW on the Private server, DCv2 and PCv2 can play together.

If you're looking for a version with loads of content and a population then Blue Burst is what you want. If you want a version that has balance, to a certain extent, I hear Version 2 is what you would want. Oh, if you decide to play version 2 then good luck finding rares since the drop rates are impossible to work with.
