NOT playable online. I repeat, Mario Kart on GameCube is NOT playable online. Well that what Pulse is reporting. Nintendo gave some excuse that its not possible to make it online. I wonder if they realize that the DC was capable of an online racer...

Well i cant think of any problems they would have putting a racing game online, but im not really bothered about it at all. Some multiplayer games are just more fun when the person is right next to you. Its easier to punch them for being cheesy!

Atleast now I can punch back without fear of getting 0vv||3D. =X

Nintendo said it was going to be available as 1 of 3 online games debuting at the same time. Hence the name at this years showing "Worldwide Smash".

The other 2 games was Mario Golf Online and something else...

i seen it watching Pulse on G4tv. im not sure if its available in your area unless you subscribe to digital cable. Pulse usually reports news that is about a week old, so im pretty sure there is a link on the internet somewhere. ill see if i can dig it up in the morning when i get off of work

Probably Mario Tennis. I still don't believe that they would make Mario Kart offline. They have no reason not to make it online.

You mean, aside from all the costs of setting it up?

Pokemon online, maybe?

That game would bring more people online than any other single console game.

pokemon online? great idea...too bad the poké-craze is pretty much dormant. if nintendo could manage something like a yu-gi-oh! online game, then maybe they could nudge back in to 2nd place, but i doubt we'll see that

the craze was about the pokemon t-shirts, backpacks, trading cards, lunchboxes, and the tv show.

the games are NOT part of the craze, i believe.

It would be ashame if it was not online. But I have enough friends that would play split screen. We shall see what happens

I have a huge list of ideas that I made at another site over a Online Pokemon game, the ideas get pretty deep as the list goes, as far as to explain "evil" pokemon and trainers.

Why is everyone so suprised, its just Nintendo's way of making sure the GC is a failure.

I don't know... Nintendo did a great job on the original, but everything after that was just BS to me. It doesn't matter to me either way, really. :/
