there can be 2 things going on here..... and more reasons of why they are doing it.

the 2 things are.
1. They are able to set their charcater to lvl and alter the game around but i mean there are other people who have make their characters levels 201+... which is weird...
(that much being said idk why there isn't a defence in the programming which would shut down the game or something messes up since the lvls in the game should be 1-200....)

2. The hackers could be Masking their levels, as in they are hiding the level they are just to feel cool or something...
(for those that don't know what masking means. it's when u have something, like lets say a link u post, but instead of you having a huge and ugly link posted u can cover it up with a little HTML and it would have the word "Link" instead of the huge URL)

Nowadays there's more lvl200s/0s than there are legit players.
Some of those bloody hackers run around acting like they own the game, and that they should be thanked.

It's because people are using AR's made for the psp. There are lot's of codes for psp2, so of course your going to run into hackers now. The game has been out for a good while. I guess the best thing to do is ignore them or deal with it. I myself don't hack so there are no worries. o: But i'm currently playing FF7 and I would have to re-download psp2 from the psn if I wanted to play again..

I actually heard of some hacker who threatens to convert anyone who begs to be boosted hacked to level 0.

Yeah, uh.. that was kind of the idea mentioned a couple posts back.

It must be true that there is someone hacking these people who are begging to be hacked to level 0. I've seen an awful lot of 0's online and have heard that you cannot do any missions when you are 0, so there must be no other reason to be hacked to 0 unless to show off, which would be stupid.

I would have been placed on the list 2 months ago but I don't hack "grind" games because it will make my 40$ spend not worth it.

Just right now there was a room with someone wanted to get hacked,I refresh the room list and that person is Lv0. People want to be Lv200 because they think it's some LV where you are God,wrong,it's just the max lv and you can basically kill any monster.

A lot of people get the wrong idea about being 200 as being "invincible", but really it all depends on equipment and your type level.

For instance a level 200 wearing level 40 equipment from the store using level 40-50 weapons is about the same as being level 100, maybe stronger than 100, but that's still in debate.

My guess is that these hackers are getting tired of being used like cheap novelties and are ruining the cheapskates that plague the game, i.e. people looking for online relationships, people that demand attention, and other hackers.

So far, it seems like it works at the times I play, no one is really asking for hackers anymore, but on the other hand, more parties are around with people asking for hackers to help them get out of it. The people that ask to get out of it were the same ones that asked for a hacker to help.

Moral of this little story is, never ask for illegitimate help, it's a bloody, double edged sword.

I don't see how this is going to help with the hackers and stuff, really. We all should know that hacking is going to happen, it's been around since PSO and in every game since then. The best thing to do would be to submit those ticket thingies that Ruby mentioned sometime ago, if that's still even around, or to stick to the legit side of the force whenever possible.

these people that r in lvl 0 didn't do it them selves theres a couple of hackers going around hacking people to lvl 0... i don't wanna say any names cause i'm not exactly sure who they r but i've herd that it's 3 hackers in total n they all have many different characters n accounts... i suggest that if ur playing an come in contact with one don't save ur file or make sure to have a back up.

I guess the one good thing is that you can actually copy your saves and restore them. That was one of the bigger issues caused by hacking to grief players in PSO. In PSO, that was your one and only save, it gets messed up, there's no backup for you.

Only If You Can Not Hack,But If The Hacker Who Has A Code To Change That Can Try & Fix Your Character It Could Be Possible,But The Hacker Would Need Your Savefile To Fix It.Only Way To Know Is If I Use Myself As The Test Subject & Figure Out The Code Combo & I Could Give That Code To Someone Who Will Not Be Careless W/That Code.Just A Thought I Not Want To Get Trashed For Trying To Help Or Find A Solution To Something.
