Before I started playing PSO on the Dreamcast, I tried playing Everquest. My friend said "WHOA MAN, THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!! YOU SHOULD PLAY IT!!!" Yeah, well he convinced me. So, I bought it - $39.99 - I had money to waste. I came home, installed it, and began to play...the worst game on the face of the earth! Here is why

Characters look stupid
Graphics aren't good
Gameplay is very repetitive
Not complicated, but cliche compared to other movies and games

I played for 15 minutes after installation. I quit, cursed myself, and cried because I wasted $40 on nothing...absolutely nothing!

After I played PSO and my Dreamcast stopped working (after 10 months straight of playing PSO) I decided "Hey, maybe I should play EverQyest again because now I'm into RPG's, and I might like it a lot.....I installed, and here is what happened:

*uninstalls and sells disc on Ebay to some HUGE fan for 60 dollars*

I played Everquest and had fun, but man! It wasn't that addictive!

It amazes me how serious some people can take this game...

Well i never played Everquest on Pc before, but I was one all three phases of the EQOA beta testing test for PS2.And I must say that the graphics where not the best but I over looked them because it was a beta of course, anyway to make my story short it was an somewhat of fun game but unless major changes have taken place just not the game for me http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif the commercials look a LOT LOT LOT then what they did in my beta 3 version example the trolls are now short and fat etc..etc..etc.. maybe I'll give it a try again someday but for now much like on dreamcast pso G-Cube has taken over my life.

everquest oa is cool only becouse i have no other online game to play right now...its fun...but it will all be stopd march 28 when i can ragnarok agian http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif...then play rag till psox comes out then i won't have to look at eq... but the game is still very very fun....and for the ps2..its a great deal becouse i got it for free just for buying the online adapter...and you get a free month to try the game out.... but the one for computer blows ding.

I went over to Skuld's house Monday...I saw Everquest Adventures on ps2....it was ok...still not addictive to me. The only reason I would play it would be that is all my friends played it and I had a ps2...which I don't.
