special quest weapon upgrade

i have a friend who recently beat a quest in which you have to get a crown from a stupid powerful monster and his soul banish was massively upgraded because of it. has anyone else gotten an upgrade like this from this quest, and if so, would it upgrade any weapon or just certain ones?

i don't know what the quest is called but when he beat it, the soul banish changed appearance and instead of shooting the normal megid it shoots a giant shockwave and his photon blast runs through it. the quest is in several parts. first you take the crown from a stupid powerful al rappy, then a bunch of other monsters including a belra, a slime, a love rappy, and finally some sort of giant mutated conglomeration that started as a lily. that's all i know offhand.:-?

no quests exists that i've ever known, unless it was a quest made, and was unique to, a private server. Al Rappy and Love Rappy are Episode 1 and 2, respectively, and a quest can't run across both episodes so I would say it doesn't exist
