Phantasy Star Universe. So what are the main differences between PSU and PSO?

Which sticky? I looked through all of the stickies I thought would have some useful info and I didn't find anything useful on the differences between it and the PSU series spin off. By the way what's piping?

From what I was reading in the sticky it was something about rares. Any idea if I can still get BB and did it come with Episode 3? Or was that the card one?

EDIT: Never mind about if I can get BB I found some stuff online when I did a bing search that eventually led me to a site that had a way to get it and play on the server we are not allowed to talk about even though the official one is down.
