BBA problem - NO Ship select!

OK recently had broadband and use Internet connection sharing, share my BB connection thru my PC.

Now XBOX live works fine, but PSO is'nt.

I connect to server no problem, get the welcome message telling me my hunter license expiry, but then when i press A to get to ship select the ship select doesnt appear,(get lobby music and overhead lobby on screen) erventually after a few minutes i just disconnects. Any idea what wrong and how to fix? I don't have a firewall or anything.

servers are down; no-one can connect so it has nothing to do with the xbox and M$...

I got to the ship select screen about 5 mins ago and I picked vega and checked some of the blocks and people were on, but I clicked on an open block and waited for another 5 mins then was disconnected. I also have had alot of issues with lag today and im using a broadband connection and SOCOM a broadband only game plays fine. So my guess is server problems. Possibly patching somethings up.
