Grinding From PSO To PSU ?

i remember in the old PSO days ( dreamcast ) u used to be able to grind ur stats, using DEF, ATK ECT Grinders, do these exsist on PSU ?
if not, whats the best way to get def ? just by normal leveling, as im level 50 and only have 55 def -.- and im not sure why.

If you're still sporting Hunter, Ranger or Force, change to another class ASAP; That'll help. Mats no longer exist, sorry; I was sad to see 'em go. Stat worthiness is also different in PSU as opposed to PSO.
