Some Help Needed ( Online/Offline Story )

can achievements be earned for the offline story missions ?
ive been going through the story ( online ) via lvl 5 HQ,
and ive just finished chapter 5 ( Vally of Suspicion ) but there was no boss,
and one of the achievements is, defeat the boss on chapter 5 ?

The achievements for the regular game can only be gotten in offline story mode (Ethan mode).

The expansion achievements (the ones that aren't worth 100G each) can only be obtained online, and the easiest way is usually in a party at a mission where they show up.

Episode 2, which you're working through right now, doesn't have any expansion bosses in it, but Episode 3 does. I never tried going through Episode 3 without doing the achievement bosses first, except for the final one, as the final story mission was the first time he showed up. When that was released, he didn't give you an achievement, you had to wait until Dark God S2 to get it, or the recent Protectors Zeta. So, you may not even get achievements during online story for smashing Motherbrain, De Rol Le and the Alterazgohg either.
