Damage: I think I'm doing it wrong...

So, had a little search, couldn't find anything that rang out for what I was looking for, so, a question for you given that I haven't played PSU Xbox 360 since before the last two AotI missions were released;

Using Double Sabres, in this case Carriguine Blades of the appropriate element for the enemy & with at least one grind, I am generally doing;

Basic Attacks: 350-520 Damage
Tornado Whatsit: 1250-1600 Damage

I'm level 142 & a level 3 Fighmaster Female Beast (switched when I came back), so I realise that the Fighmaster may be having a slightly less than outstanding effect on my stats, but the damage still seems low when others around me can be doing as much as an extra 1000 (sometimes much, much more) damage. Obviously there are level variation to consider, but overall, I think I am less effective that I should be, or maybe I'm wrong & I'm about right.

But, if I am doing less damage than you'd expect, can anyone suggest what I might be missing/doing wrong?

Your PA level, your weapon's percent, your weapon's grinds, etc. all factor into your damage output.

Also, Tornado Dance isn't exactly the strongest Double Saber PA.

I appreciate all that, I was just wondering if there was something more, unless I'm too scpetical & an extra 6-8 Grinds makes up for 1l-4k damage? My Sabres are all 24% plus, so not the highest, but as I don't get to play much theres not much chance of me synthing the big stuff or earning enough meseta for a splurge.

As to Tornado Dance, I'm quite happy with it though I do have another, Absolute Dance I think? Or have they dropped in a few even better ones since last I was wandering about?

Spiral Dance is by far the best double saber PA.

As for the damage difference, I'd say it's all in the percent. High percent weapons do leagues more damage than lower percents.

Hmm, I really wouldn't have expected the difference to be so pronounced just by percentage! I'd assumed I hqd something more going on! Ah well, just have to keep saving :D will take a look at spiral dance too! Thanks Olaf!

once Demolition Comet is out its power should be enough for any % grind , for anyone to do average+ amount of damage.

Element % is still the main factor, even if it has a lot more ATP.
