Cannot connect to Xbox 360 version

So I cancelled my account right before the new event came out. I repurchased my guardians license and now it won't connect to the servers at all. I tried reinstalling AOTS and still the same problem. Any tips or anything?

Try changing your primary DNS to 4.2.2.3 and secondary DNS to 4.2.2.4 on your Xbox 360 network settings.

Worked for me back in PSU 360 ever since the "beta" in October 2006.
