Beats and Rares

To those who believe that rares are assosciated with beat times (seems to be quite a number out there), can you please post your section ID, and what beat times you're able to find the most rares. I think I'm starting to believe this theory somewhat (although I believe that they're more random at certain beats). My Yellowboze HUcast, for some reason or another, finds a ton of rares in the 0-100 and 500 beats.

Personally, I don't buy into the beats/rares theory. While it is true that basing "randomization" on time rather than programming in real randomization is a great trick for beginning programmers, I doubt Sonic Team would take such a lazy way out.
