GC Eu ships

I was reading the website and they said that there were 5/6 eu gamecube ships. I'm playing though the pal game and when i load up the game the only ship i can get on to is the 01:EU/FomalHaut (i think) and i was just wondering if this problem is just me or is there a way i can get to the other ships (i can't even join the us/jp ships)

When you switch on your gamecube, hold onto B on the controller. This will prompt a option to switch between 50 and 60Hz. Choose 60Hz.

When you log on, you should be able to see all the other ships.
