New member. Long time fan

Hi friends. My name is Michael. Im 22 and been lurking the PS02 updates. I originally played PS01 on my gamecube/xbox but have been away from the series for some time now. Im greatly anticipating the new game and hope to get back into the online community in regards to finding some nice people to play PSO2 with. Im slightly curious about the games I haven't played since PS01. If any of you have some suggestions on Phantasy Star games you think are worthwhile id gladly listen.

Hey there! Welcome to PSO-World.

The major game after PSO was Phantasy Star Universe, which many users on this forum are still playing years down the line.

Additionally, there have been a few titles (based off of PSU) on the Playstation Portable, and even a game on DS called Phantasy Star Zero (which features gameplay surprisingly faithful to the original PSO!)

I definitely recommend poking around the various info sections & forums relating to each of these games here on PSOW. Hopefully you can find a new favorite game lurking among the backlog. Enjoy!

I see in Phantasy Star Zero they had made it brighter and more appealing to a younger audience. The characters seem to be designed to look younger slightly chibish. Nothing I against that art style I just find it interesting. Perhaps cause its on the DS. I found some good deals on it since its older so I may just check it out. Maybe ill find some people to play with here. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for all the welcomes and advice. I was actually seeking some advice on starting out in Zero. I suppose I check out that forum first.
