7/29 Download Mission and GBR

Info for tomorrow's download mission is up.

It's the "Great Photon Festival!" Collect fallen photon stones to receive the blessings of the photons. Supposedly, the more of these stones you collect, the better chance you have at getting some of the reward weapons. There also appear to be multiple routes, one with Rutsu appear too.

The July GBR missions have been revealed. The schedule is as follows:
7/29 ~ 8/10: Blue Seas Crustacian
8/10 ~ 8/17: Scarred Planet
8/17 ~ 8/24: Ancient Invader
8/24 ~ 8/31: Mad Beasts

Twin Orochi Agito has a single version called True Agito which is a saber

After several runs and with the reference to the JP wiki, here's a quick and dirty guide for the mission:

1st sector:
[SPOILER-BOX]
From the start, head to the left passageway. In the room, there are three switches on the wall and containers on either side of the room. In order to obtain all the stones here, you must hit the correct switch in accordance to the location(s)+quantity of containers in the room as follows:

1 container on each side: left switch
2 containers on the left: middle switch
2 containers on the right: right switch

If you performed the task successfully, you'll find 2 stones[/SPOILER-BOX]


Number of stones: 2

2nd sector:

Immediately after entering the sector, head to the left lamp and destroy it for 1 stone

Right after the first warp, head for the containers in front of you and destroy the lamp for 1 stone

Successfully clear all the enemies in the area with the pink floor on the mini-map without touching the colored section for 1 stone
There will be another area with the pink floor. Do the same as the above for 2 stones (Pre. req: in order to obtain 2 stones here, you must have obtained the stone in the first pink area)

3rd sector:

At the start of the sector, head to the upper-left corner of the room and destroy the lamp here for 1 stone

You will reach an open area right before the first boss portal with Yaoroz. One event out of three may occur at this point:

Defeat all the Gonan without killing the Zerumon (the :light: reskin of the Pal sharks) within the time limit
Destroy the Vol Brother's cargo ship within the time limit
Defeat the two red-aura'd Goran Garan's within the time limit

If you cleared any of the above events correctly, you will be rewarded with 1 stone and the red gem.

After this, in order to obtain the remaining stones, you must take the teleporter to the right instead of the boss portal leading to Yaoroz.

4th sector:

Before hitting the jump panel down to the first big area, backtrack a bit and destroy the lamp for 1 stone

Afterwards, take the aforementioned jump panel and head to the corner and pick up 1 stone. While this stone is trapped, you can avoid tripping it by obtaining the stone from its side rather than be directly on it

You will eventually come across a lone switch near a staircase. Activating it will temporarily disable a fence further on that houses a jump panel. Take that panel in order to find 1 stone

Two jump panels before reaching the final room, destroy the lamp here for 1 stone

For the remaining three stones, take the middle teleporter in the final room of the sector to reach a bonus area.

Bonus area:

You'll be sent into a room where there are two consoles, one behind you and another far across from your current location. Head to the latter one and destroy it before the monsters destroy the former. For your efforts, you will be reward with the last 3 stones and the blue gem.

Back in the 4th sector, if you have more than 12 stones, the boss portal to Alterazgohg will become assessable (the boss portal to the left of Sayo).

How often do people play these GBR missions? The party list appeared to be nothing more than MAi parties when I logged on yesterday afternoon.
