Question related for pso episode 1 and 2 for the original xbox only

Okay so here it goes, i was a fan of pso when episode 1 and 2 came out and played it all the time, i recently came across an orginal xbox and want to buy pso for it, my only problem is i remember i needed xbox live to play pso and since microsoft discontinued xbox live for the xbox where does that leave me? can i still play pso or is pso useless on the v1 xbox now?

You can play PSO offline mode only on the original Xbox (unfortunatey wasn't made compatible for the 360 for some bizzare reason), but you will need associate a gamertag, without one you won't be able to play.

the way i play it for xbox is i found a friend that still had his old xbox with a live account on it and i just copied his account to a memory card and put it on my xbox
