About these rare books: They help reveal a subplot about the four legendary Katana Blades. Where do you get the Katana Books in the first place to find out about the blades?

They're not in GC PSO.

In the DC/PC versions they're scattered throughout all stages and difficulties.

I'll three I found in PSO for DC were found in V.hard Caves.

WOW!!! Perhaps they do not exist in the GC version but my Player's guide says they do. Intriguing....

The books uncover a subplot so you can find the legendary sword Agito ( The fourth Katana Sword ).

That book youre reading, I have it to. Its so wrong in so many ways. Just use it for the EPI maps, and the rares. Other than that, Its all crap and wrong. FOr example, look at the weapnj listing for saber. It has 10 stars. I dont think so

I hear ya man. I have found so many errors and I only do use it for maps. It is kind of usefull in some ways. Like raising a MAG and its fourth evolution.

It's not so much a sub-plot as it was just a guide to help players figure out which Agito was the real one (which if you don't know by now I'd have to ask what rock you've been living under http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif). Reading the information from the three books (actually they were scrolls, but the english translation made them out to be books instead for the western culture), and playing through the quest Seek My Master to acquire Zoke's three legendary swords, you could figure out which AUW was the real Agito. Beyond that the books did nothing and were completely worthless.

When you have all four books and the real agito you can turn it into the oritagito(Very powerful and rare).

That's incorrect. First there were only three books. Secondly, you don't need any of the books to make the Orochiagito. All you have to do (in every version of PSO) is take the real Agito to the tekker standing next to the bank in the quest Seek My Master and he'll identify it as the Orochiagito.
