Are mussashi's rare [Archive]

I found a mussashi on the 5th run through hard forest. On the dreamcast I had to wait ages untill i had a great item. Is this normaly easy to find or was I lucky?

Musashi's not a great item, anyway. Yamato or Grass Assassins Arm are easier to find and the requirred stats don't seem so disproportionate to the actual added ATP.

I had a heck of a time finding G-Assassin's arms and when I did, about 5 more popped up. I've also gotten about 3 or 4 Musashis and have only logged 80 Hours. So I would say its not that rare.

Yeah, I looked for a Secret Gear for two weeks. Then one night...BAM! I found two in the same minute. You never know when a rare might pop up.

I don't think they are all THAT rare. I have done about 25 runs on hard mode and nothing to show for it. However, it only took me 3 runs on very hard to get a Yamato.

Musashi can be a frustrating drop since its from the Dragon and there's only one dragon in the Forest but it shouldn't be a hard to get rare though. G-Assassin's and Yamatos I say are better and Asuka is even more better. Using them takes some time since its cool down after a full combo is pretty long. First time I killed the dragon on hard with my ramarl he dropped them. Not really of any use since my main character is a lot higher and has many better weapons though. I wasn't even hunting for it either.

I got Musashi the first time after killing the Dragon on hard with my RAmarl.

Yamato took me about 5 runs to find for the first time.

I found my first Musashi on about the 3rd run of Very Hard Forest (or something like that). After that I moved up to a Yamato. All in all I have about 4 musashis and about 2 or 3 yamatos.

People seem to forget that the Musashi has the better special. I still use my 50% Native Musashi on the Dragon. Using the special I was doing 900+ damage with my level 50 HUmar (Now 70).

mussasis, grassassassins arms, and yamatos are pretty eaisy to find..i have found 5 mussasis.
