Can someone provide me witha reliable source for downloading BB?

Try googleing it. Rules state we cant tell the private server's name.

Usually, downloads for BB these days are tied to private servers. So in getting the game itself, you'd likely have to go to a private server site

to play BB, as far as i can tell you have to play on a private server of which we can't name any, BB did not feature an offline mode like PSOGC/DC/X, so just google PSOBB and you should find something.

JP PSU, US PSU's servers have been shut down a long time ago.

Servers for BB are free, so I don't see what your problem is with that. Or you can set up your own.

He wanted to look for the original version that's probably still linked to the official servers. Whatever reason he has for that no one knows.

He can then download the game at gamespot, you won't be able to play.

Well you can download the game files without joining a server...but there's no point in that, unless you want to make your own server. Which I said he could do.
