GC: Challenge offline

Does anyone know if the name your own weapon option appears in the GC version OFFLINE? And how many people actually play challenge, more to the point, DON'T use a guide?

I use a guide cause I'm new to challenge. I think people would rather play with me online using a guide instead of hitting the wrong buttons, not being prepared for whats next, and generally sucking at challenge.

You can't name items offline simply because you don't get S-ranks for beating offline challenge mode, you get to select from a list of other items that you can't get otherwise, such as the maracas, Crazy tune or Akikos wok.

I don't use guides at all, since I've played each stage at least 80 times. Oops.

can you name a weapon if u complete c-mode offline, then go online?

note: if u get an A-rank, can you raise it to an S-rank somehow?

You don't name offline c-mode prizes.

If you get an A rank, you can keep playing until you get under 7 hours. Whichever stage you beat that brings your total under 7 hours, that is the stage that you get your s rank at. It just happens to usually be c9.
