Purplenum Tollaw is far easier IMO.

Looking for a Lavis Cannon is easiest with either Purplenum or Redria. Purplenum gets Lavis Cannon from Tollaw and Redria from Pouilly Slime. Doing Soul of Blacksmith will be your best bet of ever finding one with Purplenum, since there are a lot of Tollaws in that quest.

The same quest is also good for Redria as there is a room in Caves 2 with 2 Pofuilly Slimes that can split into eight.

I myself, would prefer looking for Lavis Cannon with the Purplenum ID.

think of this- when i had a redria, many moons ago, it took me about 6 runs in multiplayer to get a spirit garment off him in vhard. took team phalanx 70+. forget gibbles. besides, i have 50+ kills on the gi gue in purplenum ult and still cant cet him to drop his ass.

That's why I would rather look for Lavis Cannon with the Purplenum ID. I would hate going through all those Damn Pouilly Slimes to find one.

Greennill gets Lavis Cannon from Ultimate Seabed Morfos. Don't even bother looking for it with Greennill because Morfos drop rates are really low.

Well my Redria just beat my Purplenum to the Lavis Cannon. After 22 Pouilly Slimes, I finally found one (the ironic thing is that I randomly ran into the one that dropped it, I wasn't even using the TP trick). My Purplenum has gone through well over 100 Lost Heat Sword runs (first floor only) and never got a single red box from all those Tollaws (well over 4300 of them).

Purplenum is good for the sheer amount of Tollaws you can face, but they have a stingy drop rate. Pouilly Slime has a much better drop rate, but finding them is a pain in the ass. That's not the point of finding the Lavis. The real reason is to find one with good %s, preferably in hit and 2 others, so you can turn it into a godly Doublecannon.

Personally, I'd rather have the Lavis Blade. But since I'm a collector I (most insanely) want to find three Lavis Cannons and three Syncestas so I'll have all three weapons. why get the LAVIS cannon you ask? cause its the best oldschol pso wep there is. you can attack fast, shoot beams that do hecka dmge, and last of all, you can turn it into better things. WHy wouldn't you want one? the only reason i might not look for one is because my lavis canon drop is from a sinow red (do they have high drop rates?), and there are barely any in mines.

Every section ID can find Lavis Cannon. I'll just go ahead and post where each ID finds it, since many people seem to be asking where and if their ID finds Lavis Cannon.

Yellowboze - Gibbles

Viridia - Gran Sorcerer

so would it be faster to just get to caves with my lvl 66 redria or to start a purplenum and get to ultimate forest???

I'd say since you already have a Redria character just look for it with that ID. My friend got lucky and it only took him 6 Pouilly Slimes to get Lavis Cannon.

There's really no need to start a Purplenum character unless you want other items from the ID too.
