Cloudstrife xx, have you tried the new double sabers with Bugie-Senba? There's a good chance it has the boost with it. Since one of the sabers does and will see if the other saber does too.

Update: Both saber's have the boost if the double's have it then they would be the first to have the boost.

Doesnt matter that combo only gives 150 atp for its boost where the Shijin/ouryu Combo gives 200 atp...

It's funny, though....every single thing that reeks like Sangeyasha or looks like old weaponry pretty much has a linkage to Bugei (or Bgei...inb4suggestivename...credits to Segac).

But yeah...linkage or not, Shijin + Ouryu is still better, unless you wanna use Ryukoh + Makaruka*insert gibberish here* all the time and get frozen/sleepy/stunned/burned/or whatever except incapped by Megid.

I was asking more of Confirming it had one, Not that you'd use it. lol, and 50-100 atp is not going to kill you any way's at this point of the game, but to each there own.

Crysteon, Actually Bugie is really good for the resistance to SE's/Tech (very good on S4). Pretty good on Psychical Damage also and could be better then Shijin and Ryukoh if done right. The only real down side other than having no TP boost is the lack of Variety but that's not as bad now with more weapon's in the mix.

I wonder if those new 15* weapons can come out as neutral....it would be Sega's ultimate trolling if people traded a 15* unit + 80 bars and the rest of the stuff for a neutral weapon with a PA boost........

In some cases, the range+/SE boost attributes sound like a good idea...but a PA boost is a PA boost, lol.

Tifa Rods don't have a % that can be changed with GC. Only melee.

umm yes, i tried all spawns on this map the others took me about 1-2 min more.
im full gas'd my styles are Elemental Burst, Soul Barrier, Highgrade Pharmacy but its like viper said.

AH I see, yeah looking at it closer it's hard to tell with it being fuzzy on full screen and mistaking the burn hit's with the Fireballs sorry. But yeah you did well :), How is Elemental Burst working for you?

Oh, an interesting side note: I have a Male Cast WT that takes the same or just a little more damage to your Female Newman MF since I bridged that racial gap between them; taking 0 to little damage with no or little SE form S4's well with Tech damage I do. Oh, Have you thought of using a STA unit to help with the burn and go back in-forth with the OSUV?

I won't have the chance to play into it until my classes end. Too much work :( Practically every game I play has events, so lately I've been botting in a game that allows it as something built into the game while I am away doing other stuff.

as much as I wanna see the event. Gameguard seems to be trying to stop me for god knows what. its been this way ever since the computer BSOD'd like crazy on the 27th. :-?

Lovrina, try the following:

When a computer BSODs, the system itself defaults to a higher security mode. This is to prevent hardware hacks that may be malicious to your system. Therefor try the following:

1) Go into Advanced System Settings:

Win 7:

Start ---> Right Click on "Computer" and Advance System Settings.

Win XP is to right click on "My Computer" Get Properties and go to Advanced Tab on the screen that follows.

Ok, now we are synchronized (on the same tab on all OSes involved)

In that same box, reads "Performance, User Profiles and Startup/Recovery" all which have a "Settings" button. Click on "Settings" for "Performance. Go to "Data Execution Prevention" which is a very neat thing added to OSes :)

Click on the box "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select"

Add "PSUIlluminus.exe" and "online.exe" and make sure they are checkboxed after added.
Hit Apply and Ok.

You can try to launch PSU and see if it runs. If gameguard still acts up, then delete all that is in GG directory and relaunch. The game will download GG and it should work.

I found out the BSOD problem today actually. The graphics card my brother installed on the computer required 400 something. but the computer only had a 300 Power supply. So I'm on my old dimension 3000. I'll try the gameguard solution when the computer is fixed. though, the computer may not be fixed for awhile since it needs a bigger Power supply.

Basically it's 4.7k vs 5.3k with second strike of Retsuzan. I'd calculate that Mjolnir's damage might go up to 5.6-5.7k if 10/10'd...but I wont bother doing that for now....and even like that, it will never reach the glorious damage of a mid-grinded "Fuglykazan" (pun intended). Biggest downside of Mjolnir is its blade...it's plainly horrible, but slightly better than Yupke's.

I find it hard to believe that people still complain about Frameskip 0. The lower-end offerings of Nvidia and ATi/AMD blow PSU away. I always wonder because I have several PCs here. One of my lowest end PCs is an Athlon 64 Single Core processor with a 8800 GTS that runs PSU at frameskip 0 at all max settings....

Then I hear about these comps with the latest processors and some low end cards having problems with PSU, forcing to run under frameskip 1 and 2 and I think "What the hell!?" This IS PSU right? A game that runs at 1280 x 720 and unless players run with a FIX or special profile, it runs with no Anti Aliasing...

I've been on an MMORPG that allows in-game botting (through an in-Game program) within a server that is built around those who have a life and work, with EXP boosts on all weekends and events.

I do miss playing with you. I took a break from the game because events are very time consuming and they wear me out bigtime since its very repetitive. I finally got a small break and Ive been using it to keep in touch with those I consider friends or rivals.

I did enjoy running together those few times in the last event I was on, I had to deal with a lot of work and after the end of the event wore me out, I found myself spending more time composing and looking for work because times are tough here in the states.

Will you still be around when I return to this game?

Ah nice. Then I should be able to run this like a dream then. The one I am waiting on is FX 6100 [email protected](Turbo 3.6Ghz) I'm gunna OC to about 4.2-4.4 I think not sure yet. The new Radeon HD 7770(Gigabyte Edition) And the card is by Gigabyte. 8GB ram DDR3 and water cooled. I got so lucky I found a guy on craigslist that builds them and gets parts like 50-60% off so I got a really good deal on it.

I find it hard to believe that people still complain about Frameskip 0. The lower-end offerings of Nvidia and ATi/AMD blow PSU away. I always wonder because I have several PCs here. One of my lowest end PCs is an Athlon 64 Single Core processor with a 8800 GTS that runs PSU at frameskip 0 at all max settings....

Then I hear about these comps with the latest processors and some low end cards having problems with PSU, forcing to run under frameskip 1 and 2 and I think "What the hell!?" This IS PSU right? A game that runs at 1280 x 720 and unless players run with a FIX or special profile, it runs with no Anti Aliasing...

I did enjoy running together those few times in the last event I was on, I had to deal with a lot of work and after the end of the event wore me out, I found myself spending more time composing and looking for work because times are tough here in the states.

White Roses were Death Roses, to show friction between myself and another. It can be an unresolved past or other issue or something peculiar that I see in the player. They are given to Friends, Neutral, Enemies, and Rivals.

Red Roses were Life Roses, given to players who have shown potential and some heart. I tend to have respect for these players and they can be Friends, Neutral, Enemies or Rivals who get these.

Black Roses were Romantic Roses. Very rare to give out as they are the ones I give out to a live player, the others are dropped on corpses of players. Black Roses come with an extra gift and are for those who showed love and heart in volatile situations. I give out very few of these and when I do give one, I tend to write about it.

I recently found out that free course players don't have access to GAS. having no way of obtaining premium or using GC. it really put me off. I was already having a bit of an unfavorable time. looking at some of the cool outfits{Elf Princess, a newman version of Chelsea's outfit for Lovrina, Nameless#13 for my ranger], the only long{er] twin tails hair and long{er] pony tail hair being unobtainable(in my current position), Getting chased by Delnadians and Carriguine stomped.)

not having GAS really turned me off. this game feels too money dependent(GCing stuff to 40%, Changing Elements). I enjoyed this game. but it decreased as time went. almost everybody was the same Race/Type Combo and had clothes and hair I could only dream of. I'm still thinking, but its tipping in the other direction. being significantly weaker than others(I know I use a Female Newman Gunmaster, but still) because I have no money makes my stomach turn. the only things that really hold me to this game are that its the only game besides Zero and offline PS2 PSU that I have my traditional (Lovrina/Hunter, Saki/Ranger and Erin/Force, a picture of Erin in a Yellow/Black Nei like leotard with sleeves and a whip like object that makes me think of the good times I was here, and is the only PS game that allows my to use Vivienne(my old PSOBB DS), Sange Yasha and Guld Milla on the same pallete. I don't have a PSP for PSPo2+i, its screen got wrecked and before I could get it repaired, I accidentally left it in my old dresser which was thrown out soon after D:. Money dependent? The only thing you should pay for is premium. All the best items in this game are non-gc items. If you reached a high enough level to run S4 missions of the event you could've been lucky enough to find something worth 200M-2000M. This game is nothing but luck. You have the option to run around with 30% weapons no one cares.

Chronoseline is about 4.5M right now. Run ohtori 4x on C rank and you'll earn 140 AMP. The exp isn't bad either. We can't help you out either. Why? You're free course...

Like Cyanide77 said all the best things dont require GC it's still just like the 360 ver. You just need a lil bit of luck. Also, why would you be worried about GAS when you arent even lvl 180 yet?

GC is just a "extra" feature kinda like "DLC" for fighting games. It's not needed unless you really want those extra costumes.

I'm on the free course now and really enjoying myself, however I will buy a gamekey next week. I really need my room and do some shopping for armor and some decent units :)

Hai =p We together played a bit on JP.

The reality of online gaming is that there's no such thing as a free lunch. A game may be free to play, but ultimately the company that hosts it needs to pay its employees and turn a profit to stay alive.

In PSU's case, I didn't feel the need to begrudge Sega for the price of the monthly Premium Course sub. It was fair enough for me until I got bored of fighting the same mobs and bosses ad nauseum.

To put things in perspective, spend $10 for the game key somewhere around level 100 to buy some low end 40%s from player shops. Then another $30 for 2 months' premium when you hit level 180 and 30AP. That gets you a fully geared and GAS'd character, maybe even two. With a bunch of nice GC clothes from player shops as well.

Total amount spent is $40, with an average of $13 spent per month. That's pretty much a dinner and movie per month where I live. In contrast, most other online games, or even other forms of entertainment, tend to chalk up triple digit expenses over three months.

After that $40, you're more or less set for life in this game and you can pretty much cancel your sub and go the rest of the way as an FC until you feel like subbing to catch up with the power creep. At this point, about half a year after I cancelled, I can sort of feel the power gap, but my characters still feel competent enough. Also, Sega still hasn't added anything truly new and I have more interesting games to play to consider resubbing.

If you're looking for an F2P game to last you a month before PSO2, I'm currently playing Champions Online. A warning beforehand though: it's a freemium game. But I played it almost to level cap as a free account before putting down the money for a sub. Level 39 out of 40 in fact. Could've easily done 39-40 as a free archetype character but I was saving that to try out my freeform build =p. Send me a tell if you try it. I could show you around and powerlevel you through some alerts.

As for more PSU-like action-type games, there's Dragon Nest, Vindictus, DC Universe Online and maaaaaaaaybe Dungeons and Dragons Online (DDO). Try the others before you try DDO though. The free account for DDO is horrid.

Crysteon - The Pyroxenes are easier to get now thru the lottery. Even tho they could be in the AMP Exchange. I'm thinking more like Rol le Shell, Machine Synapse and Governing Chip since most of the other's are easier to get then those two. Especially the Chip with all of those 9* version's of the F&D out but pretty much harder to get compared to there 15* counterpart's with lower stats sucks. Crysteon - The Pyroxenes are easier to get now thru the lottery. Even tho they could be in the AMP Exchange. I'm thinking more like Machine Synapse and Governing Chip since most of the other's are easier to get then those two. Especially the Chip with all of those 9* version's of the F&D out but pretty much harder to get compared to there 15* counterpart's with lower stats sucks. Yes, I know Pyroxenes are easy to get from the Guardians Trial exchange mission, but it's just a retarded gamble, after spending hours farming points for that. Out of around 10k points from last event, I hardly got 2 Varnas......and tons of useless Pyroxenes I prefered to sell.

Machinery Synapses are already going down in price again, and if they are available at AMP trades that's gonna ruin the whole point of running Aquatic Mamma S4 (oh god...why Mamma?)...ofc, I wouldnt mind getting some Governing Chips via AMP since most Neudaiz runs containing Adahnas are just annoying or boring.

I wouldnt waste mats or money for a 5-bullets or fire rate boosted Variable Launcher...since certain one-handed weapons have become useful at some point, and...well...relying on SEs to beat certain melee resistant monsters faster is not a bad idea. As far as I am concerned, the only useful Variable Launcher elements are Ground and Fire. Ice's freeze doesnt seem to be super useful since the SE can be easily cancelled...Light's sleep might seem promising if you rely a lot on stuff like Sleep Collapse, but that's a "no-go" to me....Lightning's shock might be homologous to Ground's stun but not as effective since monsters still move and that does not cancel Techs...and Dark's confusion...it's just a gamble between being hit or making the enemy hit others...so, no.

Tried a quick damage test, and a 50% +10 Diad still beats Punishment by a very little difference. Perhaps a 43% Punishment might match Diad...but that's just a vague hypothesis.
