Double cannon hunting tips

Whats up felles, Im having a issue on finding the double cannon and im bout ready to go insane. I have done that stupid MAX 2 with a force more than 100 times and still nothing all i been getting is the stupid Gerard weave and its really irritating. I have done that Ebony mission as well and even hunted mini rappies and still havent got it. I been doing this for months and im bout read to break my psp. can someone please tell me any tips on what I should do. Is this drop gliched or something cuz im not getting any were.

It's just random. I've done some bosses over 200 times or invested 30+ hours hunting the same creature on end without getting anything.

Either keep doing it and you will get one eventually sooner or later (probably later), or do something else (different character, different mission) for a while to keep things changed up.
