Phantasy Star Portable 1 Multiplayer

I'm looking for friends to make on Phantasy Star Portable 1 till I can get Phantasy Star Portable 2 so even though no one plays the first one just leave me a message on saying that you would play and I will reply. Sadly to say the game don't have an online mode like PSP2 and PSP2i,but if you know another person who lives near you with a psp and the game you can team up with that individual(s) to do runs,its ADHOC only..

Thank you for helping me understand it now and I have a question, Is PSP2 and PSP2i free online or do I have to pay to play online?
