but PS never died, it just hasn't been on Nintendo consoles aside from GBA/Gamecube, we still have PSO2 to look forward to and have had PSZ,PSP,PSP2, and PSU over the last 5 years or so

I believe what that's refering to is the classic Phantasy Star JRPGs set in the Algol system, a opposed to the moddern action RPG that started with PSODC that we have now.

Was there a list of the rankings for the various franchises? I'm curious as to how high Shining Force is.

'Cause we really need a remake/re-release of Shining Force 3 (and its Japan-only two additional scenarios) on a modern console. I certainly wouldn't be against a re-release of Shining the Holy Ark as well, though I really think they need to do another game in that style.
