The info about the door would be in regards to the rare mission Phantom Fissure. The post you found said that the Chao Staff dropped from a large box behind the 3rd door that needed four people to open.

If you have the Japanese download missions, you can also get it by trading certain items for it.

yet is that the only place it cn be found and is it a chance item? or will it alwasy be in that box? like the old pso1 story missin box drops
