Challenge: S-Rank Weapons

whats the deal with S-Rank weapons, i know you can get them from beating challenge mode in under 7 hours, but i was wondering if you have to beat it online or can you get them offline? i dont want to waste my time doing it offline if i cant get anything.

For THE S-Ranks weapons can only be obtained online. Offline S-Ranks weapons are just weird prizes.
