Question about the Double Saber

I am confused, I just found one of these and supposedly they are higher ATP than a G-assasin Arms... But they are lower than mine. Also why are they good (are they good?).

I don't know that they're higher ATP, but maybe fully ground? The real benefit is the one more hit per combo, and the faster attack speed.

I thought they were the same # of hits...
G-Assasin Sabers go 1, 2, 2
And i though Double Saber went 2 1 2...

And fully ground it would be more, but my G-assasin Sabers are already +25 and i don't wanna waste 60 on a dbl saber is it's gonna be not that much better.

Twins (ie. Double Saber) get six hits, but depending on the gender/class the combo varies visually.

All males get a 2 1 3 combo.
All females except HUcaseal get a 1 2 3 combo.
I can't remember the hit pattern of a HUcaseal, but they're the only class that gets a unique twin combo (and dagger combo, for that matter).

Double Saber type weapons attack 2-1-3. And yes, the Double Saber (fully grinded), is better than a fully grinded G-Assassin's Sabers. It may have less ATP, but the extra hit makes up for it.

Double Saber 2,1,3
Musashi and G-assasin Saber 1,2,2

Er, I wouldn't know about other Male characters, but my HUmar gets a 2-1-3 combo. I just took out my Demolition Comet and hit some stuff with it, and it does a 2-1-3 combo.

I think the Double Saber is by far a great weapon. When I got it and used it, I was in awe. Right now its fully grinded and I'm working to find a Stag Cutlery (or perhaps a Twin Brand http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif )

Heh, I have like 3 spare Demolition Comets I can give you. If you ever find me online, just ask me for one. I usually have one or two lying around. My character's a HUmar, named Moogy. I hang out in Antares 8-1 and 8-2. Drop me a line if you see me. I might not be able to give you some right now, because I'm supposed to be trading these for a legit Summit Moon. Why a FOnewm would want 3 Demolition Comets is beyond me, but oh well. Anyway, if you see me, ask me if I have one.

Head down to Hard temple and beat barba ray (that's where I got mine dropped the 3rd time i killed him). Or Normal old Poison Lilies in VH Temple can drop them.

That is assuming you are a whitill like your sig says.
