My room music can be changed, but if you mean music in general and wanting to play music from your memory stick then no. You can use a plugin for that, but I won't be listing it here.

Shame, would like to change some in-game music.
Some are so godawful, particulary town music.

There is a cfw plugin that changes plays mp3s off of your ms, it can also mute the original background music and sound effects(it can be really fun to have your favorite tracks for some areas and the likes), but it is a pain to use.

why it is a pain by the way?

you can either...

a.) get a mp3 plugin + mute game music (the easiest way)

or b.) alter the iso's at3 files... which means take the iso apart.... search the specific bgm's at3 file you want to change and replace it with your own (filesize MUST be the same,)
and re-create your iso (the hard way)

both ways are fine... but take note both require the use of CFW.

CFW isn't a sin... think if it as a tool, you decide what you do with your tools....

example. a cooking knife is both a cooking utensil and a murder weapon, but the knife itself is a knife.

I see CFW as something that enhances the experience. It brings a whole lot of enjoyment as some games never had a western release and an english translation is available.

Another example would be Coldbird's current project with PRO-C, allowing for online play with games that only support Ad Hoc.
