Error...need help

I keep trying to create my character and this keeps happening. I played in the 2nd Alpha and haven't registered anything new since. Haven't been keeping up with everything enough I guess. Any info helps, hope my computer isn't the prob

ok i found the answer to both of our problems :D8-) just load the client and the second butten under the start game and scroll down the graphics to 1 :-P:-P:-P:-P:-P

The I had a similar problem while trying to go through the caves and it would crash giving me an error that looked the same but diff numbers.

Check to make sure you have all the DirectX updates installed by using the DX web installer and if that didn't help assuming that it installed stuff then the problem might be the install is bad and certain graphics are corrupted which is my problem.
